in the last weekWent for dinner with high expectations based on menu descriptions but it was misleading. Starting with the drink the Smoked Pineapple which the pineapple and smokiness flavor were missing it was more a whiskey sour than a Smoked Pineapple. The appetizers were okay we had the Bacalaito and the Sandwichito Croissant. For the main course we had the Pumpkin Short Rib Ravioli and the Teriyaki Mushroom Chicken. The Pumpkin Short Rib Raviolis were cold had to return them. The menu mentioned they were filled with ricotta but they also had spinach and ricotta which I didn’t mind as I like spinach but was not expecting it. After being reheated it was okay. The Teriyaki chicken was also okay but did not look at all to the menu photo, did not had any sesame seeds. Portions are okay. For dessert we had the Corn Bread which was good a creamier ice cream would have been better. Overall would have liked it to be a better experience as we had high expectations because of the menu offerings and descriptions. Definitely expected more as it is on the pricey side.

a week agoWe visited Marcel Orquídea Violeta on a Saturday at 5:00 p.m.; the restaurant was empty. The staff was attentive and helpful throughout our visit. Regarding the food, the sangria tasted more like apple juice, falling short of expectations. The red snapper was poorly presented, a very small portion (approximately 4–5 inches), and practically tasteless; the breadfruit mash also lacked seasoning. The lamb stew was of acceptable quality, but unremarkable. Overall, although the service was very good, the quality of the food did not meet our expectations. Therefore, we would not return, nor would we recommend it.
