a week agoWe loved La O! We were greeted with well wishes and smiles! The restaurant itself is unique, refreshing, with awesome music! Our waitress Vidiana was impeccable! She went over everything on the menu and she was especially attentive to my gluten sensitivity. She explained how all of the menu items were prepared, emphasizing all of the fresh ingredients and the many made from scratch items. My gluten free Santa Puttanesca pizza was delicious! If you like anchovies, capers and a spicy sauce you will love it! The star of the show was the homemade chocolate ganache quinoa cake with a blueberry compote and in house made vanilla ice cream! It happened to be my birthday and it was a wonderful treat! If you are in Old San Juan, go here! Not touristy at all, just delicious innovative food and a great staff!

a week agoService was great, waiters were attentive and quick. The food was really good, even tho the pizza tasted a little burnt. Creme brulee was also really good but had a strong minty taste. The music was a little too loud considering how empty was. Overall, really good experience and would come back!
