This was the first restaurant we went to in San Juan and it was horrible. They put absolutely no effort in the food and it’s tasteless. I got the risotto and it was horrendous with maybe 4-5 pieces of ‘lobster’ and it didn’t even taste like lobster. Coming from Key West and Maine I know my lobster . My sons plate was the churasco which was chewy and my moms was a Ropa vieja mofongo which was alright. And 9$ for a regular lemonade I spend 170 ☠️ on three dinners an appetizer a water and three lemonades ( no alcohol drinks ) I come from Miami I am used to over paying for food so I don’t mind paying but dayum not when the food and service is not good that just sucks The waitresses never came for refills or even the check I had to call them each and every time for everything, not once did they come to ask if we needed anything so each time it was a wave for another side of cheese, a wave for the check, a wave for some water a wave for another lemonade 💀

I wish I had seen the 3.9 rating on Google instead of all the other ones that gave it a higher score, because it actually deserves a much lower rating. Where do I begin? The food was horribly bland! Not at all what we were expecting on our Puerto Rican gastronomical adventure. We had a party of 13 and only one person liked their food. It was extremely bland. The Ropa Vieja definitely didn’t compare to the Cuban version. The Carne Guisada lacked that Mexican flair. The grilled chicken had a topping that can only be described as sauerkraut. The baked potato was undercooked and only came with butter. The salad looked like it was just thrown together instead of tossed and didn’t come with any dressing. The Mahi Mahi was overcooked and the mango sauce was a runny yellow liquid with no mango flavor. The grilled pork chop was just not good. And the mixed drinks tasted watered down. The only good thing was the lemonade, but definitely not worth the $9 for a 6 oz glass. The only thing worse than the food was the service. They took forever to get our order. I asked for a water with lemon on the side. I didn’t get my water until after everyone got their food and only because I had to remind them of it. Then I had to remind them again about my lemons. If you’re reading this you are one of the lucky ones that have been warned. Not sure where all these 4 and 5 stars come from but they must’ve eaten at a different restaurant.
