I loved the cheesecake 12/10, it was on another level, the wedding cake 9, the carrot cake 7.

When I went to Puerto Rico on vacation, my cousin had a cake from here that was delicious. So delicious, in fact, that I wanted to order one from afar for a family birthday party my dad was attending. My dad doesn't live in Yauco, but he was going to pick it up. I called last weekend to place an order. I explained my situation: I couldn't go in person to show them a design. I told them I wanted something simple, white with some roses, nothing complicated. The guy told me the order couldn't be placed over the phone, that I should message them on Messenger. I messaged them on Messenger, and today is Thursday the 24th, and they still haven't responded. I sent them an email, and still nothing. The guy also told me I could go to the store and look for and buy any cake they had there. But I didn't want to. The next day I called again, and a woman answered. I asked if I could speak to a manager or the owner, and she said they weren't there. She suggested I try calling again on Monday at 10 a.m. And I tell you, girl, it's so complicated to order a cake from you. The situation is a bit unpleasant. I'm not asking for anything out of the ordinary. Just a white cake with flowers or whatever you want, but personalized and with "Happy Birthday" written on it. Do you really expect me to travel to Puerto Rico for a minute to order a cake, and then you tell me, "Well, tell your dad to come over"? The lack of customer service is disappointing. For me, as the owner, it would be flattering if someone from Florida wanted to order my cakes from Puerto Rico. I would do anything to make it happen. I would take the information and say, "Let me talk to the owner to see if maybe you can send her a text message with the photo, or let me see how we can make this possible." And I'm writing this not to give you a bad reputation, but so you can learn from your mistakes. Because honestly, it wouldn't have cost you anything to take my order by phone, reply to me on Messenger or email, or let me send you a text message with the information. That's why, at the end of the day, we often give the business to people who work from home instead of a large bakery like yours.
